Cuppa @ 7 sits quietly along Fitzgerald Avenue in Springwood, carving out a comfortable spot for those seeking a cafe experience that balances solid coffee and relaxed dining throughout the day. This is a place where locals drop in for breakfast, linger over lunch, or catch up with friends over a mid-morning brew. The atmosphere leans toward casual and unpretentious, with friendly service that reflects a genuine care for guests' experience.

The coffee here earns consistent praise, described as smooth and reliable — good enough to draw a regular crowd who appreciate their daily caffeine fix without fuss. The kitchen menu leans into classic breakfast and lunch choices, leaning on simple preparations and fresh ingredients. Breakfast options range from a straightforward "Any Style Egg On Croissant" to more filling plates like the "Big Breakfast" or "Avocado On Toast," which caters well to diverse morning appetites.

Lunch offerings highlight comfort dishes such as pastas and salads, with the Thai Beef Salad standing out for its fresh, balanced flavors. Those hoping for seafood might be cautious; there have been notes on the seafood chowder’s execution, suggesting it doesn’t fully meet expectations for its category. However, straightforward crowd-pleasers like cheesy melts and steak sandwiches deliver as expected, especially when paired with the consistently good coffee.

The vibe here is best described as welcoming without formality, making it an easy pick for locals grabbing a weekend brunch or a slow weekday lunch. It’s also a spot where the staff’s attentiveness adds warmth without being overbearing. The cafe is well-suited to small groups or solo visits, especially during quieter weekday mornings or early afternoons when the pace slows and the natural light fills the space.

Overall, Cuppa @ 7 feels like a dependable local hub — somewhere the food and drinks may not surprise, but they combine well enough to build a steady rhythm in Springwood’s daily café scene. It’s the kind of place you return to for familiarity, with just enough thoughtful touches in both kitchen and service to keep things pleasant.

I tried the Thai beef salad last time and it was really good. The coffee was smooth too. The staff are nice. This time I had the clam chowder, and the garlic bread was amazing. They put a good amount of garlic sauce on it, which I actually loved. Will be back again.

A nice café in Springwood. They actually do bacon perfectly crispy and willing to give the spinach a quick sauté with just the right seasoning – which is pretty rare, to be honest. The steak sandwich comes out a solid medium-well as their default; and the vegan big brekkie has scrambled tofu. Coffee’s above average too. – you can tell they care.

Lovely café with excellent food and truly outstanding customer service. Docking one star only because the smoked salmon was cooked; it’s not meant to be cooked, as heating changes the texture and flavour. Please serve it as-is (unheated), or note this on the menu.

Two for lunch recently a little disappointing with half the order. Cheesy melt delicious but seafood chowder needs revision. Tasted like Minestrone and definitely lacked seafood. Received one calamari and one mussel cut in half, no shrimps fish or scallops which should have been infused with cream. Very good coffee and service.

Situated in the Springwood Mall (Target end of the Centre), this cafe is a hidden gem. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, coupled with an extensive menu (gluten free options available) + excellent coffee and some of the friendliest service staff that I have encounted for a long time. I'd give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐for the service alone. We had breakfast consisting of "Eggs Benedict", "AVO on toast with poached eggs," flat white coffees. With table service, water was brought to the table, the meals and coffee served hot and very tasty in a very timely manner. This is a top place for a drop in and catch up with friends, or do what we did enjoy a very sumptuous breakfast before heading out for the day. Tip: Don't forget to pick up a loyalty card.
